Procedure

The following table breaks down the application process into six basic steps:

STEP 1

Times Immigration shall pre-screen your passport copy for Government pre-approval to ensure fast processing.

STEP 2

Times Immigration will assist in finding a suitable property in Portugal. Should you wish to travel to Portugal to view properties, Times Immigration will assist in your Schengen Visa application. Your passport must be stamped in Portugal before submitting the residency application.

STEP 3

Times Immigration will prepare all the documentation required for the Residency application and the legalization of the documents at the Portuguese Consulate. A Power of Attorney is signed with our lawyers in Portugal.

STEP 4

Once the property registration has been completed (3 – 5 working days), the residency documents together with the residency processing fees are submitted to Immigration Services.
