Basic Standard Visitor Visa Requirements

To apply for the visa, you will be required to show the following:

  • The availability of sufficient funds to support yourself during the stay in the UK
  • You’re going to leave the UK in the end of the period (for example, you have a return ticket)
  • You have the funds to organise your return journey
  • You have proof of the activities that you’ll be involved in during your stay in the UK

If you are applying as an academic, a person in need of a medical treatment or a long-term visa candidate, the conditions may be slightly different.

Procedure
